This week in Poland the biography Pola Negri: Legenda Hollywood was award “Book of The Year" for 2011 in the biography category. It had also been awarded "Book of The Month" back in April of 2011. The awards were given to the author Mariusz Kotowski and the publisher Proszynski Media by Ksiazki Magazyn Literacki (Books Literary Magazine). Visit the magazine's website for more.

Monday, June 20th 2011 from 6:30pm-8pm it was
followed by
“A night of Sultry Seduction Through Song” at Lamberts and featured a live performance of the film’s soundtrack by award winning composer Rick Dejonge and his band with vocal guests David Lago, Mandy Lauderdale, Sydney Barrosse and Naomi Emmerson.
